The Club

Narewa FC carries the name of its neighbourhood in Lodwar and little else. It was built from the ground up by the young youth of Narewa with no backing, just a community that organised itself into a team and earned its place in the FKF County League.

The Idea — The Dragon

“Narewa” is derived from a small brown house lizard found across Kenya. It's quick and easy to overlook. Rather than build the identity around the small creature, I asked what it becomes with the club's ambition behind it. Scale the lizard up, give it fire, and you reach its mythic cousin: the Dragon. That single move set everything; the alias Narewa Dragons and the cry “Fire on you Dragons.”

It's the club's own story in miniature: something small and overlooked, built into something you don't want to face.

The Jersey

The home and away kits extend the identity beyond the badge. Both use the dragon as a large background motif across the shirt, rendered subtly enough to read as texture up close and as a silhouette from a distance. Red leads the home kit as the primary club colour; black takes the away, drawn from the core palette.
